NEW YEAR, NEW ME. (IT'S OK TO SAY IT.)

2022 is approaching and you are FINALLY ready to become the healthier version of yourself! However, social media won't let you live and is reminding you of your failure from last year. And the year before. And year before that. In fact, your memories from that last 3 years are popping up on your timeline reminding you that you have been saying "New Year, New Me" every December since 2017. Not to mention, the snarky comments and memes people create to taunt people who like you said " New Year, New Me" who unfortunately did not meet their goals.

But guess what? It's ok! We are leaving the weight of opinions, thoughts, and fears of others in 2021, because this will help us get to the physical weight we desire in 2022. It's time to get rid of the negativity, the nay sayers, and anyone who does not believe in the goals you have set for yourself. Even if the that person is you. Get rid of the negativity in you and/or around you that stops you from becoming the BEST YOU!

It does not matter what you did not do last year, or the year before. It matters what decision you make today and what you do to make your goal your reality. So say it and say it confidently! New Year, New Me! As you solidify your decision, ask yourself these questions:

  1. What is my goal?

  2. Why is this my goal?

  3. How can I change?

  4. When will I begin this change?

Asking yourself these 4 questions will help you make sense of your goal. It will also help formulate your plan to reach your goal! You cannot have a goal without a plan and expect it to meet it! When we set goals, we need a roadmap to help us make the goal feel attainable. No matter what your goal is, it is attainable! So get started. Remove anything that makes you feel as if you can reach your goal. Do the work. Because the best version of you is waiting!
